The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) during the first quarter of 2017 began an assessment of the Human Resource Capacity of the Capital Market. The aim of this exercise was among others, to assess the skill-set, skill-gap, geographical coverage and gender balance or distribution in the industry. It was also designed to collect, collate, analyse and disseminate data for diverse users and uses, including for monitoring and evaluation purposes. The deadline for the submission of the survey questionnaire was 3rd April 2017.
